The Palliative Care Standards Working Group is proud to have completed it’s “final draft” of the following document: “Pediatric Hospice Palliative Care: Guidelines Principles and Norms of Practice for Children and Adolescents with Life Threatening Conditions and their Families”. We are also pleased that this document, along with the work of the British Columbia Standards Committee, has been used to develop Canadian practice standards for pediatric palliative care, an initiative sponsored by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association and the Canadian Network of Palliative Care for Children and was funded by Health Canada.
